Digital voltage monitoring Automatic Transfer Switch .
[what does this do?]:
This item is for grid tied homes to eliminate or reduce their electric bill without going the expensive grid-tie route. This ATS monitors the battery levels. When the battery level is low it switches (without loss of power) to grid. When the batteries are charged to a certain point it switches back to your inverter powering house (again without power loss). This is all accomplished without back feeding to the grid utilizing a double pole double throw relay (required by law). This is installed on your side of the meter so you will not have to pay grid tie fees and grid tie solar panel fees! It also has an override should the grid go down and you need to run the house at any battery state.
These are pre-wired for 110/220 volts and have a current load of 80 amps constant and 240 amps surge.

This is all accomplished without back feeding to the grid (required by law). This is installed on your side of the meter so you will not have to pay grid tie fees and grid tie solar panel fees! It also works as a backup should the grid go down.
